Towards the beginning of our journey we decided to standardize our backbones to 4mtr/6mtr and 8mtr to make things simple. My personal favorite is the 4mtr as this is a lot more manageable on the beach when fishing alone as I often do and requires minimum flaffing around chasing off seagulls, stray dogs and such.

That being said I understand that everyone has their own style of fishing and we definitely encourage that, so if you would like a longer or even shorter backbone to accommodate more or fewer hooks let us know, if you would prefer to use running traces (commercial longline style) rather than having them fixed, again let us know we are happy to give you a quote.
